NEW INVENTORY - John Dickson & Son Boxlock, made in 1937
12 gauge, A & D Ejector, side-by-side shotgun
SOLD
This gun has seen very little use since it left the Dickson workshop in 1937, the scroll engraved action retains around 75% of its original colour hardening on its scallop back frame. The gun has a long well figured stock with fine chequering and is finished with slim ebonite heeplate. The barrel bores are bright and clean and measure as the day they were proved, and the gun still retains its original choking of 1/4 & 3/4 choke. The gun comes complete in its original deluxe leather case with the green velvet interior, which was a costly addition.
To prepare the gun for sale we have given it a full service strip and clean, re-blacked the barrels and furniture, cleaned the stock and fore-end and cleaned out the chequering.
