John Dickson & Son attend 50th Anniversary Show

John Dickson & Son have just returned from a successful show at SCI 2022 where it was a great opportunity to meet customers old and new and also display our fine guns and rifles. We were also able to connect with a number of Dickson Owners Club members from the west coast of America and talk about some of the new guns we have in development. We very much look forward to attending the show in 2023 when it moves to the 'Music City' of Nashville, Tennessee.

Vintage Gun Inventory Update

Whilst sourcing good vintage examples of the names we own, we still have huge demand for Scottish guns generally, and we have some pretty special guns arriving in February:

This list includes:

- John Dickson & Son 12 bore 'Round-Action' gun, acanthus scroll engraved by Sumner and fitted with new 2 3/4in chambered barrels - originally delivered in 1900

Our vintage gun inventory page is updated weekly, which you can view here.

All guns we offer for sale have been through the workshop and meticulously prepared for sale by our team of gunmakers. We continue to try and source the best examples of Scottish guns we can find but if there is something specific you are looking for, or you wish to move your vintage gun on, then please get in contact here

John Dickson & Son at 'The Southern'

After a two year absence, John Dickson & Son are very pleased to be attending 'The Southern' at Deep River Sporting Clays, NC. We will be bringing some very fine examples of vintage Dickson guns and a member of the Dickson team will be on hand to talk to you about the history of Scotland's oldest gunmaker but also about the exciting gun and rifle projects we have underway.

We will also be hosting our first Dickson Owners Club gathering of 2022 in collaboration with our friends at Delaney & Sons and running the MacNab / John Dickson & Son Scottish Round-Action Challenge, where participants must shoot a Scottish-made Round-Action in this competition.

If there is something specific you would like to discuss in advance, you can make arrangements through our contact form  here
