COVID-19 business update from John Dickson & Son

Business update in regard to the recently announced national lockdown in England and Scotland due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As per directives issued by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and First Minister of Scotland, both England and Scotland now enter another period of a national lockdown.
The business of John Dickson and Son reopens on Wednesday 6th January 2021 but on an appointment only basis to support urgent firearm repairs and ammunition sales to working trades who rely on this service.
May we please remind you that:
You must call ahead if there is something specific you require to purchase to 'click and collect', especially when purchasing ammunition. We can therefore complete the paperwork in advance and minimise your time at our premises.
There will be no public access to the workshop or shop. We will only be available to meet with a customer at the main shop door.
For any reason that you are invited into the main shop, it is strictly one customer at a time and we will be observing a 2-metre social distancing rule with the customer at all times. Our shop staff have hand sanitiser, wipes and masks to hand.
We will be operating a card machine to take your payment. We are restricting the handling of cash or cheques, so please be prepared to pay by card or contact us in advance if this is not possible so we can arrange another payment method.
Please bring a face mask as it is mandatory to wear it - if you forget it, we will happily provide one.
