NEW Daniel Fraser Velox MS Bolt-Action Rifle
Bolt-Action Stalking Rifle
Towards the end of the 19th century, Daniel Fraser established himself as one of the premier rifle makers in world with his patent falling block and double rifles but he also built a very low production of classic bolt-action stalking rifles on Mauser and Mannlicher-Schoenauer actions. These vintage rifles are highly sought after for their finesse, having been created to be a light-weight Scottish hill rifle.
In 2019, John Dickson & Son re-introduced the Daniel Fraser bolt-action stalking rifle - the Velox MS, again built on a Mannlicher-Schoenauer action, to produce a functional and practical stalking rifle in Fraser's classic style.
The Velox MS is built on the classic Mannlicher-Schoenauer action - with its all steel construction, pivot-out rotary magazine, smooth reverse cocking bolt operation and butter-knife bolt handle. The action is complemented with our own low profile scope mounts and tang safety and completed with our D.F & Co. scroll engraving and a classic walnut stock, with horn grip cap, horn tip and Silvers recoil pad as standard.
As each rifle is a bespoke build, numerous options are available to customise the rifle.
