John Dickson & Son Boxlock, made in 1933
12 Gauge, A & D Ejector, side-by-side shotgun

We are pleased to offer this vintage boxlock ejector by John Dickson & Son that was made in 1933. The action has scroll engraving with the 'Dickson & Son' banner on each side of the action and retains some colour hardening. It is fitted with a nice, straight-grained stock which has been pinned at the head, we have inspected this repair and it is very sound. The gun benefits from having just had a full service, strip and clean and the wood has been gently cleaned and re-polished, the chequering cleaned out and the furniture and barrels re-blacked. We have also fitted a new Silvers recoil pad. The barrels are in excellent condition inside and out (they measure as the day they were proved), and the lock-up to the action is firm and tight.
With a choke alteration, this gun will be perfectly suitable for standard steel 2 1/2in cartridges.
